Emily Wolfe and her band will give early-risers a taste of their brooding power pop just a few days after their new EP lands. Though three of her band members are vegetarian or vegan, Wolfe’s tastes run the gamut. Her favorites, in her words, include:

rbz Home Slice Pizza Party 01

Takoba: The fried fish tacos. I really like the food culture over on the east side.

Clark’s Oyster Bar: The hamburger and oysters. The best oysters I’ve ever had, hands down.

24 Diner: The meatloaf – it’s the best meatloaf I have ever had … sorry, Mom. They put cheese in the middle.

Lambert’s Downtown Barbecue: The wild boar ribs. I can eat an entire plate of those things. I think they put magic on them. The queso is the best I’ve had in town, as well.

Homeslice: Margherita and pepperoni pizzas, and pear gorgonzola salad. It’s the best in Austin.

Gourdough’s Public House: The Frito Pie is amazing. It comes in a tiny Frito’s bag.

Emily Wolfe at ACL: 11:15 a.m. Sunday on the Austin Ventures stage.
