What would “the Uber of food delivery” look like? Well, it would probably look a lot like Uber. The mobile application service continues its flirtation with (and marketing of) their delivery services today in 9 cities, as they partner with No Kid Hungry to deliver lunch.
Uber has partnered with Easy Tiger (the day after Elm Restaurant Group announced another new restaurant coming next year) and will deliver the bakery and beer garden’s popular roast turkey sandwich to Uber users in Austin today.
Between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Uber users can open the app, click the “lunch” option and order a sandwich, potato salad and cookie from Easy Tiger for $10. Then sit back and wait for your lunch to arrive. Proceeds benefit No Kid Hungry. Click here for more details.
