Luxury boutique hotel Archer Austin, which broke ground on December 1, announced this week that it will be home to a second location of La Corsha Hospitality Group’s Second Bar + Kitchen. The restaurant, under the purview of executive chef David Bull, will seat up to 350 people and feature a second-floor bar. The new Second, which will have 7,000 square feet of event space, will also be able to accommodate large private functions and special events.
“We are selective with the people and brands that we partner with, and the locations we choose to open restaurants,” La Corsha CEO Jeff Trigger said. “Chef Bull is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to create a custom menu for the premier wedding or soiree for our first private gala here.”
Archer Austin, which is one of several new properties coming to the Domain’s latest phase, will be located directly across from the new Nordstrom store. Archer was developed and is owned by LodgeWorks, which operates the Archer hotel collection, which includes a hotel in New York City and a forthcoming hotel in Napa, Cali.
The news of Second Bar + Kitchen planning a Domain location comes a week after East Side King announced it would open a brick-and-mortar location of its popular Thai-Kun food truck at the Domain.
