The Patron Saint of Chuy’s would’ve turned 80 years old today. To celebrate Tupelo, Mississippi’s own Elvis Aaron Presley, the Tex-Mex giant will throw a party featuring contests, giveaways and specials. And if you show up at a Chuy’s dressed as Elvis or his beautiful bride, Priscilla, you eat for free.

Chuy’s will serve Blue Hawiians all day, offer $1 off the Elvis Presley Memorial Combo (my go-to) and the Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken. There will also be “Vintage Elvis” Chuy’s shirts on sale. It wouldn’t be a party for the King without some tunes. Below is the schedule of live music for the Chuy’s in the area.

Chuy’s Barton Springs – Saint Jimi, 5-7pm

Chuy’s 183 – Randy Hinson “The Spirit of Elvis”, 5-7pm

Chuy’s Round Rock – Bill Harris “Mr. Thrill”, 6-8pm

Chuy’s Arbor Trails – Saint Jimi, 8-10pm

Chuy’s North Lamar – Mike Elliott, 6:30-8:30pm

Happy Fathers Day to my dad, from whom I inherited my shy nature. #TCB
