The Pflugerville entertainment economy is about to get a shot in the arm, according to the Statesman’s Gary Dinges. He reports that the proposed Pflugerville Crossing LP will receive major tax incentives from the City of Pflugerville to build a mixed-use development that will include 22 restaurants, entertainment venues, a luxury hotel and three business-class hotels. The project manager for the deal said that as soon as it was approved by the Pflugerville City Council, he started receiving calls about prospective tenants. No word on what restaurants to expect from the group that also developed the similar Sugar Land Town Square near Houston. That development includes Café Express, Chipotle, P.F. Chang’s and several locally owned restaurants. For all of the details on the forthcoming Pflugerville Crossing, read Dinges’ story on MyStatesman.com.
