The Burnet Road restaurant explosion continues today with the opening of 416 Bar & Grille at 5011 Burnet Rd. The restaurant serves an “Americana menu” and is owned and operated by father-and-son team John and Colin Jurey. John’s restaurant history dates back to San Francisco in the 70s and includes stops in Florida, various Whole Foods and training at Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and Colin is a 12-year veteran of the restaurant industry. The restaurant is open Monday-Friday from 4 p.m. to midnight and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to midnight.
The menu will offer takes on American classics from around the country, including cioppino, griddled cheesesteak, shrimp and grits, and fried chicken with mac’n’cheese. Dessert options feature offerings from Burnet Road neighbors Tiny Pies, Kellie’s Baking Co., Austin Cakeball, Hey Cupcake, and Amy’s Ice Creams. 416 Bar & Grille will also serve breakfast all day.
