Last spring a permit was pulled with the city with the project listed as In-N-Out burger. And last summr neighbors of the former Wendy’s on South Lamar received notice that the old drive-thru at 3701 S. Lamar Blvd. would be undergoing renovations in coming months for a new In-N-Out Burger. Today a spokesperson for the California-based burger giant confirmed the news. There is no set date for the expected opening, which will maintain a drive-thru. In-N-Out Burger opened in the Austin area in 2013. The South Lamar location will be the fourth in the Austin area. Texas is home to 26 locations.
