I previously reported that Fino would close at the end of March after 10 years in business, but Lisa and Emmett Fox’s Central Austin staple at 2905 San Gabriel St. will remain open until April 19. That gives guests another couple of weeks to enjoy Tuesday night half-off paella and sangria, and two Sunday brunches that will also serve as fundraisers for the Sustainable Food Center.

In addition to the longtime staples at the restaurant near Lamar Boulevard, the last two weeks at Fino will also give guests a chance to get a sneak peek of the future. Over the next two weekends, the restaurant will run specials that showcase upcoming menu items from Cantine, the Italian-inspired restaurant in the Lamar Union complex that the Foxes plan to open late next month.
