Verde’s Mexican Parrilla opened recently at 2000 S. I-35 in Round Rock. The restaurant serves dishes like hamachi tostadas, fried Gulf oysters, carne asada, and ancho orange duck. If the name looks familiar, it is because this is Verde’s second location. The original is located near Hamilton Pool (16018 Hamilton Pool Rd.).
The Round Rock location serves lunch and dinner daily, and features more than 100 premium tequilas. Their love for tequila is evidenced in monthly tequila dinners. The next one, July 23, will feature Casa Noble CEO and founder Jose “Pepe” Hermosillo, and the August 18 dinner hosts T1 Tequila master distiller and owner German Gonzalez.
