Italian restaurant Juliet will open July 1 at 1500 Barton Springs Rd. Jacob Weaver, formerly of Asti, helms the restaurant owned by Neeca Leitao and Dan Wilkins, and Brandon Fuller (formerly of Café Josie) serves as chef de cuisine. The opening menu includes antipasti like veal and pork meatballs stuffed with fontina; tomato and burrata salad; Italian wedding soup; housemade charcuterie; four pizzas; a grilled section that includes beef tenderloin and Texas quail; more than a half-dozen pasta dishes; and traditional Italian desserts like tiramisu.
Clayton & Little Architects, Joel Mozersky Design and Mark Wood Design collaborated on the design of the space that nods to the Italian Mediterranean. The restaurant features a large patio area that seats as many people (135) as the inside dining spaces.
Juliet will be open for dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11p.m. The bar will open at 3 p.m. to serve happy hour until 7 p.m. daily. Reservations can be made online, by calling 512.479.1800 or emailing email@example.com.
