Alliance Française d’Austin throws its 20th Bastille Day party on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the French Legation Museum (802 San Marcos St.). The family-friendly event will feature food and snacks from Pascal’s Catering, Baguette House, Mom & Pops frozen ice, along with French wine, French-Vietnamese coffee, and a special beer, Bastille 20/Vingt Bière Blonde, created by Zilker Brewing Company. Live music will be provided by longtime Franco-Lone Star fusion singer Christine Albert’s French Show and Austin swing jazz ensemble Chico Chico Hot Jazz, and there will be traditional games for both adults and children, including pétanque, volleyball, jugglers, balloon twisting, bubble stations, hula-hoops, and face-painting.
