How to celebrate ‘Cow Appreciation Day’ at Chick-Fil-A

Today is the day that you can get a free chicken sandwich by dressing up as a cow.

That’s right — it’s Chick-Fil-A’s 11th annual Cow Appreciation Day.

But note that the chicken chain is holding free food die-hards to certain standards: No “partial cow attire” will be accepted towards a free meal. According to the restaurant’s website, anything less than “fully dressed as a cow” will only get you a free entrée.

If you’re looking for the full meal deal, which is available for the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and includes a side and a drink, you have to go big or go home with your cow attire.

If you do not already have a cow costume on hand and need help making one, Chick-Fil-A’s Tumblr has a few thrifty suggestions.
