East Austin ranch-inspired restaurant Jacoby’s will begin lunch service on July 30. The restaurant that sits along the Colorado River at 3235 East Cesar Chavez St. will be open Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jacoby’s will serve a menu featuring deviled eggs, chicken fried steak sandwich, blackened catfish hoagie, and a special of burger-fries-and-iced tea for $15.

“People stop here often and ask to stroll around and enjoy the bluff and patio, so we’ve been looking forward to opening our doors earlier in the day to allow guests to do just that. We are really going to try to mimic our hometown cafe in Melvin and serve a West-Texas, patio-style lunch,” owner/operator Adam Jacoby said.
