Via 313 opens at 5 p.m. today at 3016 Guadalupe St. in the former Blackbird & Henry space. It is the second brick-and-mortar location for the pizza restaurant owned by brothers Zane and Brandon Hunt. The restaurant specializes in thick square-shaped Detroit-style pizza, and also serves a thinner bar pizza, along with other items. Via 313 started as a trailer in 2011, and trailers remain in operation at the Violet Crown Social Club in East Austin and Craft Pride on Rainey Street.

The Guadalupe location will only offer dinner until April 1, serving from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Lunch starts in April, with the restaurant opening daily at 11 a.m. April will also see the introduction of 16 draft beers and a 4,500-square-foot patio space, as well as call-in and online ordering. Additionally, Via 313 has started catering operations.
