Tex-Mex restaurant El Arroyo, which opened almost 20 years ago at 7032 Wood Hollow Drive in Northwest Hills, closed yesterday. The original Fifth Street location, which opened in 1987 remains in business. El Arroyo is owned by brothers Austin and Ellis Winstanley, who also own Star Seeds, Caine, The Tavern and Abel’s and Hill’s Cafe. We have a call out to find out what led to the closing of the restaurant near Far West Boulevard.
