Kerbey Lane Café, one of Austin’s longest running restaurants, will donate all of its profits on May 5 to United Way of Greater Austin.

The fundraising effort, which takes place from 6 a.m. May to 6 a.m. May 6 coincides with the restaurant’s 36th anniversary.

In what should be a sure-fire way to lure more customers and raise more money, Kerbey Lane will sell short stacks of its birthday pancakes for only $1.95 (usually $3.95).

This is the second year Kerbey Lane will donate all net profits from sales on its birthday to UWGA. The restaurant, which has seven area locations, has also supported United Way Austin through its annual employee giving campaign since 2013.
