After riding into town on the trending pork train five years ago, Bacon (900 W. 10th St.) has closed. The restaurant, located in the former Basil’s space just off Shoal Creek, has dealt with flooding issues over the years, and owners said in an email that they have “decided it’s time to move on to the next location.”

“This has been a very difficult and emotional decision and we are┬áso sad to say goodbye, but a healthy restaurant takes priority,” the email continued.

The owners say they will have an update on their future in the coming months.
