The Austin Girls’ Choir holds their annual benefit, Women Who Cook, Sunday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Strange Land Brewery (5904 Bee Cave Road). The evening will feature local brews and dishes from chef Jennifer Costello of the Bonneville and chef Jessica Forkner of Crema Bakery and Cafe, who will prepare jalapeno corn cakes topped with housemade carnitas, roasted butternut squash and porter chocolate cake.
