Alamo Drafthouse creates McDonald’s-themed menu for ‘The Founder’

The creative folks over at the Alamo Drafthouse are paying witty homage to the Golden Arches with a special menu they will serve at a screenings of “The Founder,” the biopic about Ray Kroc starring Oscar-winner Michael Keaton. The cheeky items that put a twist on McDonald’s staples will be paired with beers from Founders Brewing Co. from Michigan.

But some of the tweaks they’re making underscore how far they have to go in changing perceptions. Dishes include a Arches’ Morning Muffin Scotch Egg, which will have a Scotch egg breaded with English muffin and paired with Azacca IPA and a Royal with Cheese Tartare, served with toasted bun and Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale.
