Ramen Tatsu-Ya breaking out chilled ramen for summer

People line up for Ramen Tatsu-Ya’s steaming bowls of ramen year-round. It almost boggles the mind that people would choose to wait in 100-degree heat to slurp hot ramen. But, they do. For people like me who can’t imagine such a thing, the two locations of Ramen Tatsu-ya are rolling out their chilled ramen for summer at both locations (8557 Research Blvd. and 1234 S. Lamar Blvd.).

The ramen, which is available starting today, is brothless and made with citrus soy dressing, ajitama, cucumber, pirikara ground pork, karashi mustard and chili oil.
